Our transit times are estimated. The above is the travelling time of the truck, and does not include the time taken by the client/consignee for transit border clearance(s) and final border clearance and payment of relevant duties and taxes.

Yanlin does customs clearing. We have a department dedicated for that and always detail the requirement in your enquiry.

All our trucks are fitted with satellite tracking system for the security of the driver, truck and our client’s cargo. We also back up by sending out tracking report twice daily to our clients. Our clients can also track their cargo by logging into our website.

Yanlin does not offer any cargo insurance. The cargo owner should cover their goods

Normally for different cargo the following is required:

  • Certificate of Origin
  • Bill of lading
  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing lists
  • SADC certificates

Any other related permits i.e. Agricultural permits etc.

Load limits for Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and DRC per tri-axle trailer is 30 metric tonnes (“MT”) breakbulk.

As for containerized, we work on the basis of 1 x 20-foot container heavy maximum of 26.00MT gross weight and 1 x 40-foot container a maximum of 28.00MT gross weight.

However, the trucks are weighed on a per axle basis throughout the countries we transit, with out of gauge.
